You deserve a wonderful and personal session experience, whether we are in your home or we are shooting at an outdoor location. The problem is, during the Fall months, popular public locations will be crowded, and cannot provide the unique private experience that you’ll want for your session — and nobody likes being right next to another photography group at a busy public spot!
For this reason, I absolutely love shooting on private property where we will have the place all to ourselves to do our thing. In the past, I have done my best to tap into my circles and secure some cool private property options for family sessions during the busy Fall season.
Now I’m asking for your help. Since you are the coolest clients who have access to places I don’t even know about, I was thinking that this year, I’d love to tap into your circles to perhaps gain access to new options for some fresh settings for Fall family sessions. Historically when families have generously let me photograph multiple other clients on a private property, I have done an abridged session ($300 value) for them as a thank you, or I have paid a small site fee each time I visited — I am open to considering other arrangements as well to make sure this a “win” for everyone involved. I would be so grateful to anyone willing to give me some places to look at and consider!
orchards / groves / large yards / desert preserve or rustic desert landscaping / old barn or shed / overgrown corners / homes or buildings with simple architecture and lots of space / ranches or ranch-style homes / private dirt roads or long driveways / big plain walls / estates / exclusive event venues / fruit and nut trees / unique private commercial buildings / wood fences / large trees
Do you have any ideas? If you or someone you know has a property that might provide a great setting for family photography sessions, I want to hear about it!! Please use the form below to tell me all about the spot you have in mind! I’ll check it out and discuss it further with you and/or the property owner and see if it would be a good fit for some sessions this Fall!
